Job Description

Lead, coach, and develop the QA team (1 Supervisor, 2 Team Leaders across Day & Afternoon Shift).

Oversee daily quality operations and continuously improve the Food Safety & Quality Management System.

Manage internal, external, and customer audits (including upcoming YUM and ongoing SQF improvement priorities).

Drive timely root-cause investigation and corrective actions for non-conformance's, complaints, and deviations.

Oversee microbiological, chemical, and physical testing programs to ensure product safety.

Work collaboratively with production teams to support process control and product consistency.

Deliver training, coaching, and quality leadership across the site.

Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and compliance records.

Partner with the National Quality Manager and other site QAMs to align and elevate quality standards nationally.

Be a steady, visible leader on the floor, supportive, proactive, accountable, and solution‑focused.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Quality Manager should have:

  • A degree or qualification in Food Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within a high risk FMCG industry.
  • Strong knowledge of all the retailer standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities to work collaboratively across teams with visible presence on the production floor.
  • A focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
