Job Description

  • Manage site transport operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, legal, and operational guidelines.
  • Lead and mentor the site team to achieve operational excellence.
  • Monitor and optimise resource allocation and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee inventory management and ensure accuracy in stock levels.
  • Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Site Operations Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in transport management and site transport operations or a similar role within the Transport & Distribution industry.
  • Significant experience transporting dangerous goods and hazardous materials
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of operational processes and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to analyse data and implement effective solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A proactive and results-driven approach to challenges.
