This company is a leading player in the retail sector. Specifically an Iconic Footwear Brand that has the hottest fashion footwear available all year round for Men and Women. With a workforce of over 5000 dedicated employees, it operates in numerous locations across the globe. The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts. They will be expected to maintain a strong online company voice through social media channels in the retail industry.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Social Calendar: Curate and oversee the social media schedule to ensure timely and engaging content.
  • Execute Marketing Campaigns: Develop and launch monthly marketing initiatives across various social media platforms.
  • Content Creation: Design and implement captivating social media posts that resonate with the target audience.
  • Customer Engagement: Interact with customers through social media, responding to inquiries and fostering community.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with both internal teams and external partners at all levels to align on brand messaging.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Reach out to influencers and stylists to create compelling and engaging content.
  • Video Content Management: Work with third-party videographers to produce dynamic video content for social platforms and in-store displays.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Social Media Specialist should have:

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with social media management for fashion brands.
  • Familiarity with social media tools and analytics, including Facebook Ads Manager, content scheduling systems, and analytics platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Content scheduling systems - Schedugram.
  • Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Photography and photo editing skills are highly preferred.
