My client is a leading educational institution in NSW.
Job Description
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Implementation of basic sourcing strategies ensuring ongoing value for money, risk management and alignment to University policies.
- Project manage multiple sourcing events of low value and complexity end-to-end. Where appropriate purchase off existing university catalogues or panels. Run eAuctions.
- Ensure appropriate contractual instrument is used.
The Successful Applicant
As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience in a similar role within a Procurement function in a large, complex organisation.
- Some knowledge of and exposure to procurement process and specialised sourcing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening).
