Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimise procurement processes and reduce costs.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and value for money.
  • Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any issues to maintain a seamless supply chain.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all procurement activities.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on procurement activities and performance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management
  • Confidence leading RFx processes and commercial negotiations
  • Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders across technical teams
  • A commercial mindset with a focus on cost, value, and risk management
  • Experience working in technical or engineering-led environments (highly regarded)
  • A proactive approach to improving processes and driving procurement maturity
