About Our Client
Our client is a global provider of materials handling equipment, serving the mining, recycling and manufacturing industries. With large international clients, they have a strong reputation for top-class customer care and innovative engineering solutions. Throughout a difficult 2020, they continued to expand and are now looking to add a national support engineer to their growing team.
Job Description
- Provide a high standard of both phone and on-site technical support to customers across ANZ
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge their product portfolio
- Ensure all equipment is installed, maintained and repaired to necessary standards
- Liaise with all relevant parties at a high standard of customer service
- Undertake preventative maintenance programs
- Upgrade existing hardware and software
- Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting activities
- Manage inventory and upkeep detailed records
The Successful Applicant
- Equivalent of a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience
- Experience working with heavy industrial equipment
- Demonstrated ability to work with control systems
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills
- Flexible with working hours and able to travel interstate
- Hold a valid Victorian Driver's License
