About Our Client
Situated in a historic region of NSW running parallel to the Hume highway in the South West District, an opportunity is available to work for a leading local government agency. As part of a wider technology re-vamp, a newly created role within the IT Support & Administration space is now available.
Job Description
Supporting locally based staff within the south west region of Sydney; you will collaborate with a small team of support and Infrastructure professionals providing level 2 and 3 support and administration of all internal information systems. You will assist and mentor the service desk team; taking calls when needed to ensure optimal service delivery, while supporting key BAU operations within an Microsoft environment. You will gain exposure to key technologies across a number of domains relating to; Windows Server, VMware, SCCM, MS Teams, Azure AD and Office 365.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Strong IT support and administrating experience within a windows environment - AD, Exchange, Group Policy
- Knowledge and experience supporting Office 365 tenancies and MS Teams
- Exposure to and willingness to administer virtual platforms - VMware ESXi
- End user compute capabilities patching and deploying applications via SCCM
- Networking - LAN & WAN troubleshooting and configuration experience
- Highly collaborative outlook and willingness to support multiple teams
