Job Description

Responsibilities include:

Managing the finance Oracle Cloud system - take the lead on ensuring the business is utilising the full functionality and reporting capability of the Oracle Cloud system
Performing system administration tasks and provide systems support
Providing specialist technical knowledge of configuration, work-flow and integration's across finance systems.
Leading finance system upgrades or enhancements and ensuring all users are appropriately trained, where required
Ensuring the integrity and reliability of finance data, identifying implementation and operational risks and developing effective mitigation measures
Running database queries for audit reporting and automating processes where possible
Assisting in the maintenance of interfaces to/from other applications of financial systems
Developing reports in Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)
Performing UAT and supporting system upgrades and changes e.g. Oracle Cloud ERP patch releases, as required
Providing strategic advice on continuous improvement opportunities as the Oracle Cloud subject matter expert
Training and supporting finance team members and the broader business in the use of financial systems and procedures
Preparing documentation on financial application processes and procedures, as well as maintaining documentation to include any updates or changes to processes
Supporting and participating in the development of architecture blueprints and detailed documentation
Working with finance team to develop end-user documentation and training materials as well as deliver end-user training

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate is a driven and autonomous candidate who can provide technical expertise to the finance team. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role. They also have:

A tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance and CA/CPA Qualification
Experience in a similar role within the finance space
Must have experience with Oracle ERP software
Experience with system implementation and training
