The Tanker Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport and delivery of fuel within the chemical industry. They will ensure that all logistical operations and deliveries are completed on time, in line with the company's health and safety protocols.

Our client is a prominent player in the chemical sector, with a strong portfolio of products across fuel, lubricants and solvents.

Due to an exciting period of growth they are looking to add additional resources to meet their customer demand.

Job Description

  • Safely operating a large vehicle, transporting goods from refinery's to multiple customers across the state,.
  • Performing routine checks and maintaining the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order
  • Preparing accurate reports regarding transport and delivery
  • Complying with all transport laws and regulations
  • Loading and unloading products in a safe manner
  • Resolving any issues or delays in a professional manner
  • Collaborating effectively with the logistics team to ensure smooth operations

The Successful Applicant

  • A valid HR licence and a clean driving record
  • Dangerous Goods certificate
  • Proficiency in operating heavy vehicles
  • The ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting heavy items
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in basic mathematics to calculate load weights
