Michael Page have partnered with an ASX listed natural resources company to recruit a Tax Accountant into their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

About Our Client

Our client is a proud Australian business listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Due to company growth, the team is now looking to strengthen its Tax & Capital team with this new hire.

Job Description

Reporting into the Accounting Lead, the key duties of this role include:

  • Oversee tax compliance for assigned business entity
  • Monthly tax effect accounting
  • Strategic tax planning - providing recommendations to management
  • Annual income tax returns
  • FBT, GST, BAS
  • Prepare monthly management and board reports
  • Monthly depreciation journals



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Big 4/Mid Tier tax training, combined with 2-3 years commercial experience in a Tax or Financial Accounting role
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
