An enthusiastic and motivated Technical Sales Consultant is sought to drive sales and provide expert advice within the industrial sector in Sydney. This role requires an ability to understand and promote technical products, with a strong element of project management as well as tendering processes. Experience in construction/building, lifts/elevators or engineered solutions are advantageous but not essential!
  • 100-110k base + Super + Uncapped Commission + 16k Car Allowance

Job Description

They key duties and responsibilities for the Technical Sales Consultant role are:

- Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.

- Collaborate with team members to secure new business.

- Develop and deliver sales presentations to a range of stakeholders.

- Design solutions and work on tenders to win new business opportunities

- Project manage the entire sales cycle

- Participate in industry events and conventions for networking and to stay on top of industry trends.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Sales Consultant should have:

- Strong attention to detail

- Proven experience tendering for projects

- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and explain complex products.

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

- Proven experience in the NSW market
