Job Description

  • Project Management: Oversee power generation projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert advice on diesel generator systems, including synchronization and integration with power grids.
  • Tender Interpretation: Review and interpret tender requirements, preparing tailored solutions and proposals for engineering firms and clients.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including engineering firms and end-users, to understand and meet their power generation needs.
  • Brand Representation: Promote PR Power's exclusive equipment range, including brands like Kubota, Scania, JCB, and Cummins.
  • Travel: Visit clients across QLD, NSW, and NT, with monthly trips to Sydney to support existing customer relationships.
  • In-Office Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team five days a week to coordinate projects and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Technical Documentation: Interpret single-line drawings and provide insights to support project planning and execution.
  • Market Expansion: Identify opportunities for growth and contribute to the evolution of the role into a larger business function.

The Successful Applicant

  • Electrical Background: Qualified electrician or similar experience with a strong understanding of power generation systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of diesel generators, control systems, and synchronization with power grids.
  • Tender Skills: Experience interpreting and responding to tenders with tailored solutions.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and support power generation projects from start to finish.
  • Customer-Focused: Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Team-Oriented: Willingness to collaborate closely with internal teams in the office.
  • Problem-Solving Ability: Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret technical drawings and address project challenges.
