Job Description

As the Technical Support Manager you will be responsible for managing the team leads covering level 1, 2 and 3 issues for the businesses clients. This role requires someone from a technical support background, but it is largely a hands-off position, managing the team with goal-setting, end-to-end performance cycle and more. The responsibilities include:

- Managing a time including 20+ support engineers based in Australia and offshore

- Managing 24/7 support

- Conducting 1-on-1 meetings with reporting team members

- Ensuring service level agreements are met for customer responses

- Coaching and developing team members to help with career progression

- Monthly performance reporting

The Successful Applicant

You will be a Melbourne based Technical Support Manager (or similar title) with experience managing support teams. In addition you should have:

- A strong history of technical support roles

- Great team-building and managerial skills

- Knowledge of mobile computing space (Windows Mobile, iOS, Blackberry and, Android devices)

- You will have a strong technical and functional understanding. Meaning you'll have an understanding of support issues and can deal with customer escalations, but your main focus is on the team.

- Experience with mobile device management solutions is helpful

- Being bilingual is helpful but not essential.

This is a full time permanent role. Some important things to note:

- The role cannot be fully remote, it will be 2 days in the office

- The company is based in the outer eastern suburbs, they have on-site parking and it's quite quick to get to be car form the CBD, but if you live North-West it will be a long commute
