They will collaborate closely with project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive training plans and training material that align with project objectives and business goals.

Job Description

  • Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify training requirements for various projects across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project goals and objectives.
  • Develop tailored training strategies aligned with project objectives, timelines, and resources.
  • Design training programs, materials, and identify resources to address identified needs effectively.
  • Deliver training sessions to the business, ensuring understanding and adoption of key concepts and skills.
  • Utilise various training methods and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.
  • Create engaging training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and e-learning modules.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
  • Regularly communicate with project stakeholders to provide updates on training progress and outcomes.
  • Implement mechanisms to evaluate training effectiveness and learner satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and refinement.
  • Generate regular reports on training metrics, progress, and impact on project performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • 5-8 years experience in IT projects - leading and executing.
  • Completely responsible for design, development and facilitation.
  • Proven experience developing training programs for a large number of internal staff, utilising both online and in-person sessions.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral and interpersonal) and stakeholder management skills.
  • Planning and scheduling abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A team focused mentality and an ability to work effectively as part of an immediate and wider team.
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
