Job Description

  • Coordinate daily transport schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Monitor and manage transport operations to optimise efficiency.
  • Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of transport activities and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve cost-effectiveness and streamline processes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations at all times.
  • Provide reports on transport performance and key metrics to management.
  • Support the Logistics team with ad-hoc tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Coordinator should have:

  • Experience in logistics or transport coordination within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in transport management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
