About Our Client
Our client provides innovative technologies to improve productivity within the mining sector. They are seeking to employ a driven VP Sales APAC - Mining to support the growth across APAC.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the VP Sales will be directly responsible for identifying and winning opportunities across the hardrock mining sector. This role will have an initial focus on the APAC region whilst also supporting continued expansion into global markets. Working autonomously, this position will focus on key customer relationships across numerous phases of the mining process (exploration, development and production). Given the nature of this position, it will require frequent travel nationally and abroad.
The Successful Applicant
With a successful career in sales, this candidate must have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills as they will be required to liaise with a range of audiences inclusive of executives and site based staff.
This individual will have a technical or engineering background with closely aligned technologies. A network within mining across APAC is essential whilst a global network will be advantageous.
With a proven ability to operate in both an autonomous and team environment, this individual will be naturally driven to succeed with outstanding commercial acumen.
