Job Description

  • Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock control and order fulfilment.
  • Implement and maintain safety and compliance standards within the warehouse.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to streamline supply chain processes.
  • Analyse and improve warehouse processes to enhance performance and reduce costs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of warehouse activities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Operations Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management within the transport and distribution industry.
  • Proven experience working in a multi customer site
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Commitment to maintaining high safety and compliance standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working with Dangerous Goods and chemicals will be an added advantage.
