Job Description

  • Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to optimise inventory management and stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards within the warehouse environment.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of warehouse staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues promptly and effectively.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Warehouse Supervisor should have:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a logistics or warehouse environment.
  • Warehouse and operations experience in a stone, steel or glass manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance requirements in a warehouse setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
