About Our Client

Our client is a major infrastructure and facilities organisation with a unique mix of challenges in their operations. With a range of major projects on the horizon they have identified a need to grow their safety function with new blood and fresh perspectives.

Job Description

Primarily focused on partnering with project leadership teams this role is a mix of working with contractor teams to ensure compliance and maintain contracted safety performance, along with being a subject matter expert for safety matters during construction, maintenance and operations activities.

This is a hands-on role where building excellent & collaborative relationships is a must. Engaging with key stakeholders, both internal and external, along with conducting investigations and audits, are key deliverables of this role.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will be a highly people-focused safety professional with a strong ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders. They will have experience in high-risk environments, particularly in areas with large contractor or supplier workforces, ideally in construction or maintenance operations.

Recognised qualifications in WHS are essential, preferably at a minimum of Diploma level, along with experience in audit and root cause analysis investigations.
