Job Description

Join a high-profile project and take ownership of vendor performance, contract governance and commercial discipline across complex IT and professional services agreements.

  • Maintain the master register for all project-related contracts.
  • Track milestones, due dates, service levels, obligations and payment triggers.
  • Act as a first point of contact for contract interpretation, with Legal support where required.
  • Manage contract changes, vendor negotiations, change requests, briefings, approvals and signatures.
  • Run vendor performance reviews, service level checks and breach consequence processes.
  • Administer formal delay management frameworks and keep accurate meeting records and artefacts.
  • Work with the project team, Legal, ECIS, Finance, Commercial Services, ESOs, government departments and external suppliers.

The Successful Applicant

You bring depth in vendor and contract management, especially in complex IT project settings. You are comfortable reading detailed contracts, advising stakeholders and holding suppliers accountable without losing sight of value, risk and delivery.

  • Substantial experience in vendor, supplier or contract management roles.
  • Strong background supporting IT projects or technology delivery environments.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex contracts and give reliable guidance.
  • Experience managing vendor issues, service levels, compliance, risks and value-for-money outcomes.
  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, analytical and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work closely with Legal on contract preparation, variation and maintenance.
  • Public sector experience, supply chain/business qualifications or professional registration will be well regarded.
