EAE Australia is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide technical support, commissioning assistance and customer guidance across electrical infrastructure projects. Based in Chatswood, you will work closely with customers, contractors and internal engineering teams while supporting projects across Australia.

Job Description

  • Acting as the primary technical point of contact for customer enquiries and support requirements.
  • Supporting installation, commissioning and project delivery activities across customer sites.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, coordinating solutions with engineering and service teams.
  • Providing technical guidance and product support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, contractors and consultants.
  • Delivering technical training and support to customers and end users where required.
  • Preparing technical documentation, reports and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve product performance, customer experience and operational outcomes.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and sharing technical knowledge across the business.
  • Ensuring all activities are completed in line with quality, safety and compliance standards.
  • Travelling nationally to support customers and project requirements as needed

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Support Specialist should have:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in technical support, applications engineering, project engineering or commissioning.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive approach to technical problem solving.
  • Willingness to travel interstate as required.
  • Exposure to power distribution, busduct, switchboards, data centres or electrical infrastructure is advantageous.
