Job Description

  • Develop and implement workforce development strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify workforce needs and address skill gaps.
  • Provide expert advice on workforce planning and succession strategies.
  • Support the implementation of learning and development programs to build employee capability.
  • Analyse workforce data to inform decision-making and improve organisational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of HR policies and frameworks related to workforce planning.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to foster partnerships that support workforce initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Workforce Development Business Partner should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in human resources, organisational development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in workforce planning and development within a professional setting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce data effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in using HR systems and tools to support workforce planning activities.



Experience in the education sector would be highly desirable.
