Job Description

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will perform the following duties:

  • Lead the annual Group budgeting process and budget consolidation across multiple operations.
  • Manage rolling forecasting cycles and deliver insights on key financial and operational drivers.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting, commentary and variance analysis.
  • Develop Board and Executive reporting packs, including supporting analysis and memorandums.
  • Conduct quarterly operational reviews with site leadership teams.
  • Support capital expenditure governance, reporting and financial performance monitoring.
  • Drive consistency, standardisation and continuous improvement across Group reporting processes.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Principal Management Accountant should have:

  • CA / CPA qualification.
  • Demonstrated management accounting experience within the mining sector.
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting capability.
  • Ability to interpret operational mining metrics and convert them into meaningful commercial insights.
  • Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for process improvement and driving change.
  • Leadership experience or the desire to develop and grow a team.
