We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead a large-scale Operational Technology (OT) Modernisation Program across multiple sites. This senior leadership role will drive the upgrade and standardisation of critical OT environments supporting essential infrastructure. You will oversee complex projects, stakeholders, vendors, budgets and risks while delivering strategic outcomes in a highly regulated operational environment.

About Our Client

Our client is a large, asset-intensive organisation responsible for operating and maintaining critical infrastructure that delivers essential services to communities across the region. With a significant investment in technology and operational excellence, they are undertaking a major Operational Technology (OT) transformation program to modernise and standardise systems across multiple operational sites.

Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex OT modernisation program.
  • Develop and manage program plans, budgets, governance frameworks and reporting.
  • Drive standardisation of OT platforms, technologies and deployment approaches.
  • Manage program risks, dependencies and critical path activities.
  • Build strong relationships with executive leaders, operational teams and technical stakeholders.
  • Lead supplier, contractor and vendor performance management.
  • Oversee program financials, forecasting and benefits realisation.
  • Support organisational change, operational readiness and technology adoption.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Program Manager should have:

  • Significant experience delivering large-scale transformation programs within critical infrastructure, utilities, industrial or highly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-million-dollar technology, infrastructure or OT programs.
  • Strong understanding of Operational Technology environments, including:
  1. SCADA
  2. PLCs
  3. RTUs
  4. Industrial Control Systems
  5. Communications Infrastructure
  • Strong commercial, vendor and contract management capabilities.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
  • Extensive experience managing program governance, risk and financial performance.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide change and technology standardisation initiatives.
