This role has been created to support a major TechnologyOne uplift and a range of finance improvement projects currently underway. Working closely with the Head of FP&A, you'll play a key role in the redesign of finance processes, support system implementations, help lead change across the finance team, and ensure strong accounting compliance throughout the transformation journey.

Job Description

  • Support the delivery of key finance transformation initiatives, including TechnologyOne enhancements, FloQast implementation, AP automation and Chart of Accounts redesign.
  • Coordinate project activities from requirements gathering through to testing, implementation and transition into business-as-usual operations.
  • Work closely with finance stakeholders to redesign and improve finance processes aligned to new system capabilities.
  • Support transactional data migration activities, mapping, reconciliation and data validation.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution and implementation support.
    • Develop process documentation, training materials and user guides for finance stakeholders.
    • Train and support finance users through system and process changes.

  • Act as a key advocate for change by working collaboratively with the broader finance team and helping embed new ways of working.
  • Apply strong technical accounting knowledge, particularly around AASB/IFRS standards including IFRS 15 and IFRS 16.
  • Partner with both Financial Accounting and FP&A teams on projects that impact financial reporting and management reporting outcomes.
  • Provide support across budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis and financial models where required.

The Successful Applicant

  • A strong background in accounting and finance, 3 -5 years minimum
  • Proficiency in Technology One and Excel
  • CPA/CA qualification
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
