Job Description

  • Lead ASP3 design activities across the Ausgrid network.
  • Prepare and review overhead and underground distribution designs.
  • Manage design submissions, approvals and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with Ausgrid standards and industry regulations.
  • Deliver contestable works projects from concept to construction.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
  • Liaise with clients, developers, contractors and utility stakeholders.
  • Drive safe, practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior ASP3 Design Engineer should have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in ASP3 design within the energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in design tools and software relevant to the role.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
