Job Description

Reporting into the Accountant, the successful Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for:

  • Managing a high-volume customer ledger
  • Debt collection and aged debt management
  • Customer account reconciliations and query resolution
  • Processing and allocating customer payments
  • Building strong customer and stakeholder relationships
  • Assisting with month-end reporting and debtor analysis
  • Maintaining accurate customer records within the ERP system
  • Supporting wider finance activities and process improvements as required

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable Officer should have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control role
  • Experience working within a high-volume commercial, FMCG, wholesale or distribution environment
  • Strong debt collection and account reconciliation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience using ERP systems, with JD Edwards highly regarded
  • Full working rights and the ability to work on-site in Glenroy during the onboarding period
