Job Description

  • Prepare financial and commercial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Develop and maintain reporting dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Provide variance analysis and commentary on business performance.
  • Partner with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business.
  • Support month-end reporting and management reporting processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced reporting.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and business case development.
  • Provide recommendations to optimise profitability and cost efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commercial Analyst should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and a CA/CPA or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in commercial finance, FP&A, management accounting, or analysis.
  • Proven analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and tools, such as Excel, PowerBi, and ERP platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively and build relationships with non-finance stakeholders.
  • A keen eye for detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in the FMCG or retail industry is advantageous, but this role is open to first time movers with strong modelling skills.
