We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to manage a high-volume customer ledger and ensure timely collection of outstanding debts. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to minimise aged debt whilst maintaining strong commercial relationships.

Job Description

  • Manage and maintain a high-volume accounts receivable ledger.
  • Proactively collect outstanding debt via telephone and email.
  • Monitor customer credit limits and assess credit risk.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice, payment and account queries.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and allocate incoming payments.
  • Produce aged debt reports and provide regular updates to management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support month-end processes and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cash collection performance.

The Successful Applicant

  • MUST be available to start immediately
  • Previous experience in a Credit Controller, Accounts Receivable or Collections position.
  • Strong understanding of credit control principles and debtor management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Relevant accounting or finance qualifications would be advantageous.
