Job Description

This contract opportunity is suited to an experienced Integration Engineer who will design, develop, and support enterprise integrations across HR, ERP, finance, and operational systems. A key focus of the role will be delivering HRIS-related integration projects, connecting people, payroll, talent, and workforce management platforms with broader business systems to ensure accurate, secure, and automated data flows across the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining integration interfaces, developing workflows and automations using Microsoft Power Platform (particularly Power Automate), and creating robust API-based connectivity through REST and GraphQL services. They will also develop and maintain data integration and reporting assets within Microsoft Fabric, optimise system performance, and manage the end-to-end integration lifecycle from requirements gathering and design through to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.

Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, the role requires the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring integrations support organisational priorities and deliver measurable business value. Strong experience with HRIS integrations, APIs, SQL Server, data structures, and enterprise application ecosystems will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver integration solutions across HRIS, ERP, finance, and operational platforms.
  • Lead and support HRIS integration projects, including employee, payroll, workforce, and talent data integrations.
  • Develop automations and workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and the wider Power Platform.
  • Design, build, test, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Create and manage data integration and reporting assets in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Optimise integration performance, security, scalability, and monitoring.
  • Manage the full software integration lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and support materials.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience delivering integrations in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong Power Platform and Power Automate development experience.
  • Experience working on HRIS integration projects and workforce system connectivity.
  • Solid API development and integration experience (RESTful and GraphQL).
  • Strong SQL Server and data management skills.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Structured approach to project delivery, documentation, and governance.
