As a Systems Administrator in Perth, you will oversee core technology systems for a Technology & Telecoms organisation, helping keep services reliable and available for day-to-day operations. You will apply strong systems knowledge to maintain infrastructure, resolve issues and improve the way technology supports the business. You will also be able to help mentor junior members and become a valued member of the team.

Job Description

  • Maintain and administer core systems and infrastructure to support reliable business operations.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, identifying issues before they affect users or services.
  • Operate across the M365 domain and Entra space.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical incidents, documenting actions and outcomes clearly.
  • Manage system configuration, updates and routine maintenance to keep environments operating effectively.
  • Review system capacity and performance trends to inform practical infrastructure improvements.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation for systems, configurations and operating procedures.
  • Work with technology stakeholders to plan and deliver system changes with minimal disruption.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, security and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Lead Systems Administrator' should have:

  • Strong practical experience administering business systems and infrastructure.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system faults using a structured approach.
  • Experience monitoring system performance, availability and capacity.
  • Knowledge of system configuration, patching and routine maintenance activities.
  • Mentoring capacity of junior members and taking responsibility of technical escalations.
  • Ability to prepare clear technical documentation and operating procedures.
  • Experience coordinating technical changes and managing their operational impact.
