Job Description

  • Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers to achieve project goals.
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of scalable technology platforms.
  • Ensure the adoption of best practices in platform engineering and DevOps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimise systems.
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to platform performance and security.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in platform reliability and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to enhance organisational capabilities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Platform Engineering Team Lead should have:

  • Proven experience in leading development teams and leadership skills.
  • Strong technical expertise in cloud platforms (ideally AWS), infrastructure as code, and automation tools.
  • Amplified understanding in Domain-Driven-Design.
  • Fluency in Typescript & Node.JS.
  • Knowledge of MACH Architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex technology projects.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.
