Job Description

  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes effectively.
  • Analyse financial data to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes.
  • Support audits by providing accurate and timely financial information.
  • Identify areas for process improvements within the accounting function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:

  • A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with stakeholders.
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
