Based in Woolloomooloo Sydney, our client is a traffic engineering and transport planning consulting firm providing specialist advice to both the public and private sectors. We are passionate about providing quality and innovative solutions to our clients across a wide range of transport and development projects.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver traffic engineering projects across NSW & Southeast Queensland
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities. Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Represent PDC Consultants in industry forums, meetings, and networking events
  • Prepare proposals, fee estimates, and project scopes
  • Continuous collaboration with Sydney based team
  • Ensure compliance with local standards, guidelines, and council requirements

The Successful Applicant

About You:

  • 5-10+ years of experience in traffic engineering
  • Strong local network across councils, developers, and transport agencies
  • Proven track record in business development and client engagement
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong experience in AutoCAD and traffic modelling software (e.g. SIDRA, microsimulation)
  • RPEQ registration (heavily preferred)
  • Road Safety Audit accreditation (highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive regional growth
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning



What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary range between $120,000 and $140,000 AUD.
  • Permanent position based in Sydney.
