Sydney, 12 February 2019: West Coast Fever is excited to welcome recruitment company Michael Page to the Fever Family for the 2019 Suncorp Super Netball season.
Fever’s partnership with the global recruitment giant will focus on local talent development and career advice for its players away from the court.
Michael Page will assist West Coast Fever’s athletes with training, including personal branding, CV writing, interview skills and appointments to players preparing for life after netball.
Michael Page Regional Director, Brodie McDougall, noted the benefits of partnering together to provide athletes with an opportunity to reach their potential both on and off the court.
“We are proud to partner with West Coast Fever to support the development of players to achieve their personal and professional goals,” McDougall said.
“We look forward to understanding individual players’ career plans and using our network in Perth, as well as nationally and globally, to enable future success.”
West Coast Fever Managing Director, Simon Taylor, said the partnership directly focused on the wellbeing of the playing group.
“The expansion of Suncorp Super Netball has seen a significant increase in investment made to our current players, however we believe it’s important for our athletes to also prepare for their future,” Taylor said.
“We have a vision to be the best elite netball team on and off the court, and I would like to thank Michael Page for supporting our athletes post their professional career.”
A global leader in recruitment, Michael Page has been active in WA since opening its Perth office in 2001. The team has grown to 50 members, delivering specialist recruitment services to the Western Australian market.
