Job Description

Due to continued growth and operational needs, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Officer to join the finance team on a part-time basis.

  • Processing accounts payable invoices and supplier payments
  • Managing electronic banking and payment platforms
  • Maintaining supplier accounts and completing reconciliations
  • Responding to supplier enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Processing receipts and maintaining debtor records
  • Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting with month-end reporting processes
  • Maintaining financial records and supporting documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures
  • Assisting with continuous improvement of financial and administrative systems
  • Providing broader administrative support as required

The Successful Applicant

  • Strong accounts payable and reconciliation experience
  • Experience using accounting systems and electronic banking platforms
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
