About Our Client

We are seeking a skilled and commercially minded Senior Finance Analytics Officer to join a growing finance analytics function. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong business intelligence and data analytics expertise to play a key role in delivering insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous business improvement.

Job Description

Working closely with key stakeholders across the organisation, you will help develop innovative reporting solutions, enhance financial processes, and leverage modern technology to improve business performance and financial outcomes

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements and develop meaningful reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Design and maintain data models, dashboards and business intelligence solutions that support financial decision-making.
  • Analyse complex business and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Drive business improvement initiatives through the application of technology and analytics.
  • Support and maintain technical BI environments to ensure availability and reliability of reporting solutions.
  • Provide guidance and training to stakeholders to enhance organisational analytics capability.
  • Research emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices within data analytics and business intelligence.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful, you will bring a combination of strong technical capability, financial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience analysing complex datasets and translating business requirements into effective data models and reporting solutions.
  • Advanced skills in business intelligence and data platforms such as Power BI, SQL, Azure, and data warehousing environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial management practices, budgeting, reporting and business performance analysis.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong working relationships across a diverse organisation.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and delivering outcomes
