Job Description

Working within a dynamic Credit & Risk function, you'll assess, structure and manage commercial credit exposures while contributing to business growth and sound risk management outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and underwriting commercial credit applications
  • Analysing financial statements, cash flow and customer performance
  • Preparing detailed credit submissions, risk assessments and recommendations
  • Managing dealer and customer relationships within a commercial finance environment
  • Monitoring borrower performance and establishing appropriate credit limits
  • Supporting collections and risk mitigation strategies where required
  • Preparing and negotiating credit documentation and lending agreements
  • Identifying opportunities to support new and existing business growth
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives, including digital and automation solutions
  • Producing portfolio insights, reporting and risk trend analysis
  • Supporting and collaborating with team members across the broader credit function

The Successful Applicant

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline
  • Experience in credit analysis, underwriting, lending, banking, risk assessment or financial analysis
  • Strong ability to interpret financial information and assess risk
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • A proactive, self-motivated and accountable approach
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support team success
  • Interest in technology, process improvement and evolving ways of working
