We are on the lookout for a skilled Finance Manager looking to make an impact in the transport industry. This permanent, full-time opportunity, based in their Tullamarine offices offers a great opportunity to lead and manage a financial accounting function.

About Our Client

This medium-sized company operates in the transport sector and is known for its commitment to delivering high-quality service to B2B and B2C customers. This role will be 5-days in office with additional flexibility offered, including work from home flexibility, post probation.

Job Description

  • Oversee and manage all financial operations, including budgeting, tax, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements to support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow and monitor financial performance against set targets.
  • Lead and mentor a small team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational and strategic goals.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Manager will be able to demonstrate:

  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA (or equivalent).
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, tax, and forecasting.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, either SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
