Job Description

  • Develop and execute the organisation's data and analytics strategy in alignment with business goals.
  • Lead and inspire a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Oversee the collection, storage, and analysis of data to provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
  • Drive innovation by exploring and implementing emerging technologies in the data and analytics space.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve departmental objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful General Manager / Head of Data & Analytics should have:

  • Proven leadership experience in data and analytics within the technology or telecoms industry.
  • Significant leadership experience in management consulting, ideally at Partner, Director or Principal level
  • Strong expertise in data strategy, analytics platforms, and emerging technologies.
  • Exceptional ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into actionable business strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of data governance and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in data science, analytics, or a related field.
