Job Description

  • Develop and implement global insurance strategies to safeguard business operations.
  • Oversee risk management programs to minimise exposure and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on insurance policy renewals.
  • Analyse and assess potential risks, proposing mitigation measures where necessary.
  • Prepare detailed reports on insurance coverage and risk management activities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all insurance and risk management practices.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on risk awareness and mitigation.
  • Monitor industry trends to adapt strategies as needed.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Associate Director - Global Insurance & Risk should have:

  • Extensive experience in insurance and risk management within the life science industry.
  • A strong background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement global insurance strategies.
  • Excellent analytical skills to assess and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in insurance and risk management.
  • Leadership capabilities to guide and train internal teams.
