The Group Reporting Manager will oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards within the Consumer sector. This 12-month initial contract role will start immediately and be suitable for a first time mover Manager or Senior Manager or alternatively a more experienced individual with industry experience in a similar technical role.

Job Description

The role of Group Reporting Manager will be responsible for:

    • Prepare and deliver consolidated financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and group reporting requirements.
    • Lead the preparation and review of monthly, half-year and annual financial reports for key stakeholders.
    • Provide technical accounting advice across the business, supporting complex transactions, accounting policies and reporting matters.
    • Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of reporting obligations.
    • Drive continuous improvement across financial reporting processes, controls and systems.
    • Partner with senior leaders to provide accurate financial insights and support informed decision-making.
    • Assess and implement new accounting standards, ensuring compliance and best-practice governance.
    • Contribute to finance transformation and strategic projects aimed at enhancing reporting capability and efficiency.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Reporting Manager should have:

  • Qualifications in accounting or finance, such as CA or CPA.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience in financial reporting within an inventory or stock based environment
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
