Job Description

  • Oversee the organisation's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Manage the IT team, providing leadership and guidance to achieve effective operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all technology operations.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align IT services with organisational needs.
  • Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
  • Address and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of IT should have:

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Effective communication and team management abilities.
  • Capability to develop and execute strategic IT plans.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem and familiar with modern cloud, networking, and security architectures.
  • Deep expertise across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, AI and automation and service delivery.
  • Solid understanding of IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance requirements across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
  • Proven track record of building and developing high-performing IT teams, with experience managing across multiple locations or regions.
