Job Description

  • Develop and implement the organisation's ICT strategy to align with its overall objectives.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Ensure strong cybersecurity measures and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Lead and develop the ICT team to deliver high-quality services.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Monitor ICT budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented.
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other departments within the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of IT should have:

  • Proven experience in leading ICT strategies and operations in a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems management, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience managing teams and external service providers effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • A relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
