About Our Client

Our client is delivering a significant infrastructure and automation project requiring dedicated safety assurance support across a complex multi-contractor environment.

Job Description

  • Provide health, safety, and wellbeing advice to the team.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement appropriate control measures.
  • Support the development and delivery of safety training programs.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve workplace safety initiatives.
  • Manage incident investigations and develop preventative measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety activities and compliance documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience in health and safety roles within construction, major projects, logistics, manufacturing or other high-risk environments, with a strong ability to engage contractors and maintain an active site presence.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contractor safety management, inspections, audits, incident investigations and the practical application of WHS legislation across complex, multi-contractor workplaces.
  • Relevant qualifications including a minimum Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety, Construction White Card with ICAM investigation training or similar highly regarded.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to coach leaders, contractors and project teams to strengthen safety behaviours, accountability and risk awareness.
  • Systems-focused and analytical, with experience using safety data, compliance reporting and performance metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement and support operational decision-making.
