Seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, roadmap and governance of enterprise infrastructure solutions across cloud, end-user computing, identity, security, network and integration domains. This contract role will work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Infrastructure Operations, Project Delivery teams and vendors to ensure technology solutions are scalable, secure and aligned with business strategy.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities· Define infrastructure architecture standards, roadmaps and target-state designs across cloud, network, security, identity and end-user computing environments.

· Lead solution and infrastructure architecture activities for major transformation programs and enterprise initiatives.

· Design resilient, secure and highly available infrastructure platforms leveraging Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.

· Provide architecture governance, design assurance and technical leadership across project and operational teams.

· Drive integration architecture outcomes including APIs, middleware, event-driven integration patterns and secure data exchange models.

· Develop reference architectures, design patterns and technology standards to reduce technical debt and improve platform consistency.

· Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to ensure solutions align with security, compliance and risk requirements.

· Engage with vendors, managed service providers and internal stakeholders to evaluate technologies and guide implementation activities.

· Support infrastructure modernisation initiatives including identity management, workplace technologies, cloud migration and platform optimisation.

· Produce high-quality architecture artefacts including HLDs, solution designs, roadmaps and transition plans.

The Successful Applicant

Required Skills & Experience· 5+ years delivering infrastructure and/or solution architecture for large-scale enterprise environments.

· Strong experience designing enterprise infrastructure solutions with complex integration requirements and multi-system interoperability.

· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft technology stacks including Azure, Azure Integration Services, Microsoft 365 and .NET platforms.

· Demonstrated expertise in integration architecture, APIs, middleware, messaging platforms, event-driven architectures and data exchange models.

· Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks and technology strategy development.

· Experience operating within large, geographically dispersed and business-critical environments.Technical Expertise· Enterprise Architecture & Technology Strategy

· VMware Horizon, vSphere and Citrix XenDesktop/VDI

· Active Directory, ConfigMgr, MDM, 802.1x

· Server & Desktop SOE/MOE environments

· SQL, PowerShell, C# and automation/scripting technologies
