About Our Client

A proud West Australian company, our client has been in service for close to a century. Due to business demand and company growth, the team is now looking to strengthen its operational accounting team with this newly created role.

Job Description

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the key duties of this role include:

  • Ensure accurate financial and management reporting.
  • Operational accounting duties, such as: raw materials analysis, work in progress (WIP) and product cost allocation.
  • Co-ordinate stocktakes and provide accurate reporting of finished goods.
  • Daily inventory management.
  • Standard costing and stock pricing modelling.
  • Year end provisions.
  • Supporting End of Financial Year Audit.



The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will possess the following traits:

  • CPA Qualified.
  • Background working within the manufacturing, industrial or construction sector.
  • Prior exposure within a Cost Accountant, Management Accountant or Project Accountant role.
  • Ability to work 9 Saturdays a week (with time in liu/TOIL provided).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
