Job Description

  • Oversee daily logistics operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manage inventory control and distribution processes.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to meet company objectives.
  • Monitor and improve performance metrics across logistics activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external partners for seamless operations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements.
  • Lead, train and support the logistics team to achieve performance goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Operations Manager should have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a hands-on import-export leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics practices, particularly in relation to customs bonded warehouses or depots.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and improve operational performance.
  • Understanding of safety and regulatory compliance in logistics.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
