An excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a supportive and collaborative payroll team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a combination of BAU payroll processing and support a significant SuccessFactors implementation project.

Job Description

  • End-to-end payroll processing for Australian and NZ employees.
  • Process weekly payroll cycles accurately and on time across head office, retail and warehouse employee groups.
  • Maintain payroll data and records within Employment Hero.
  • Manage payroll enquiries and stakeholder requests.
  • Interpret payroll legislation, awards, agreements and company policies.
  • Payroll reconciliations, reporting and compliance activities.
  • Data cleansing and payroll validation ahead of system migration.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels of the business.



The Successful Applicant

Essential Experience

  • Proven end-to-end Australian payroll experience.
  • Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service capability.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.



Desirable Experience

  • New Zealand payroll exposure.
  • Employment Hero experience.
  • Experience supporting payroll system implementations or upgrades.
  • Exposure to SuccessFactors or other HRIS platforms.
