Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsHybrid and Flexible working arrangementsSupportive, high performing environmentAbout Our ClientAn organisation in the healthcare industry based in Melbourne.Job DescriptionReporting into the Payroll Team Lead, the successful Payroll Officer will be responsible for:Processing end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment.Maintaining payroll records and updating employee information within payroll systems.Ensuring payroll practices comply with relevant legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and company policies.Calculating and processing superannuation, PAYG withholding, salary packaging, and other payroll deductions.Responding to payroll-related queries and providing professional support to employees and stakeholders.Collaborating with HR, Finance, and other internal teams to improve payroll processes and reporting.Preparing and lodging payroll tax, workers' compensation, and other statutory obligations.Assisting with payroll reconciliations, audits, month-end reporting, and compliance requirements.The Successful ApplicantA successful Payroll Officer will have:Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a complex or high-volume environment.
